Builds leg and hip strength and control through a larger range, preparing you for more demanding activity.
How to do it
- Step forward into a comfortable lunge, lowering your back knee toward the floor.
- Keep your front knee tracking over your foot.
- Push back to standing.
Tips
- Start shallow and progress the depth as strength allows.
Commonly done as 2-3 sets of 8-12, several times a week.
