Gently stretches the hip and lower back, keeping the midsection supple.

How to do it

  1. Sit with both legs straight in front of you.
  2. Cross one leg over the other.
  3. Slowly twist toward the bent leg, using your hand behind you for support.
  4. Hold, then relax.

Tips

  • Hold about 30 seconds. Move slowly.

Commonly done as 4 repetitions, daily.
